Merry Christmas, happy boxing day, and happy holidays! I had a really great time celebrating at home in California for one week, and then celebrating again on Christmas day with my in-law’s and family here in NYC. I felt extra lucky to be able to celebrate with both my families this year! It feels a little nostalgic, tbh, because it’s my last Christmas in NYC, and I’m trying to take in all the sights since Christmas in the city is such a special time.

I wanted to share a few boxing day sales that are popping up. I had bought many of these for much more a week ago (poor timing on my part…), but a lot of my picks are now on extra sale!

Nordstrom

Half yearly sale with up to 50% off of sale! Nordstrom is one of my favorite retailers and it has a robust return policy, so I always end up ordering stuff to try on. Too bad Nordstrom isn’t coming to NYC until I move back to the West Coast!

Sole Society vixen bootie: I purchased this over winter break last week and it is my new everyday boot. The heel is a low 2″, comfortable enough to walk around the city and clinic in. It fit perfectly right out of the box and I love the feminine rounded almond toe shape and snug side zip.

Earthies ‘Essen’ Ghillie Flat: I also picked these up last week at Nordstrom Rack (somehow they have current stuff that’s at Nordy’s!) and even though they’re a size 5 (I usually wear a size 4) they were so comfortable and cute that I had to get them. These come with a cushioned contoured insole that makes these incredibly comfortable to walk around in. The lace up also keeps the shoes nice and fitted. These aren’t on sale but for anyone looking for a stylish shoe that fits like an old lady orthotic shoe, then these are your best bet.

Anthro has the cutest and most romatic home decor, but it’s always too pricey for me to buy full-priced. Several pieces are catching my eye, like this adorable salt and pepper shaker kit and this quilt set. This gold cocktail shaker would also look beautiful on any bar cart. These make great gifts too!
