Black Friday 2018 Sale Picks

Black Friday 2018 is starting EARLY this year! Several major retailers are starting the major sales today, lasting through Monday. Unclear whether more inventory will be released or more deals will surface, but it’s a great chance to get your holiday shopping done early (and nab some stuff for yourself on the side). I rounded up some of my favorite finds:

Nordstrom: up to 60% off on sale items, and for today only, 2x points which you can redeem for Nordstrom Notes.

Clothing:

• Leith Ruched Long Sleeve Dress: available in 8 colors for $44. I have this in an olive green (above), and it’s one of my favorite purchases this season. The material is super soft and stretchy, and the ruching on the sides make it extra forgiving when you’re indulging in holiday meals. The same dress without sleeves is available in multiple colors for $36 here. I am purchasing this in a few more colors for my wardrobe!
• Halogen ribbed turtleneck: A staple in every woman’s closet. I picked up a black classic turtleneck for layering under cardigans and blazers.
• Halogen twist back sweater: I love the twist back look! My problem is the sweater is always too slouchy and ends up being off the shoulder, but this option is available in petite sizing. Just ordered this in burgundy berry.
• AG the Farrah ankle skinny jeans: I tried these on during the anniversary sale and loved how they elongated my legs. They’re back on sale now for $150 (the same price as during the anniversary sale), so if you missed out the first time, they’re back and restocked in all sizes.
• Halogen oversized turtleneck tunic sweater: Halogen is killin’ it this year! I’m in love with this bright yellow comfy sweater, something sunny and bright to put a smile on our faces during dreary winter. This comes in petite with sizing down to XXS.
• J Crew velvet blazer: I know what you’re thinking. Who needs a velvet blazer? But this dusty rose color is perfection and just right for the holidays.
• Leith keyhole jumpsuit: Fun and flirty with the cutout at the waist!

Shoes:

• Sarto Seville Bootie: a beautiful classic Chelsea boot in gray, brown, and black. With only a 1.5 inch heel, this bootie is appropriate for work as well. I’m especially liking the gray, which would go with anything
• BP open toe mule: Now drastically reduced to ~$30, this open toed mule is still available in black and blush suede. The blush is especially pretty!
• Prada bow slide sandal: A definite splurge, but the bow detail is so gorgeous. The red pair would be so festive for the upcoming holidays
• BP Roxie Wedge sandal: Only $24 right now with the sale, which is 60% off. The glitter versions on this small wedge are festive, but I would opt for the black or blush patent for more easy everyday wear.

Other than that, a few noteworthy finds:

• Madewell small transport cross body tote: I bought this bag a few years ago and I absolutely love it. It’s a great size, perfect for travel, and the English Saddle brown color goes with every outfit. I use it all the time and I’ve taken it with me to many different countries. It has definitely held up well, and I like it so much I’m getting one as a gift for my mom as well. It is price matched for 25% off right now on Nordstrom. Also available in a medium size for only $7 more here.

Nordstrom Rack – Extra 30% off of clearance, making for up to 75% off prices. Some of these prices are unbelievable. I found tops for less than $4 and designer jeans for less than $40!

• bp twist hem tee: I saw this on sale on Nordstrom, but it is available on Nordstrom Rack for a fraction of the price at $7. The twist hem front is a cute detail on an otherwise staple top.
• Caslon light chambray shirt: a super classic shirt that comes in petite sizes. One can never have enough chambray shirts!
• Scarlett pointed toe mule: available in a beautiful red hue and a rust color, perfect for fall.
• Soludos frayed denim mule: another mule! I’m a big fan of Soludos and this one is only $15.
• Gemma halter lace sheath dress: an absolutely gorgeous and delicate lace cutout gown. I could totally wear this to a wedding (as long as it’s not white!). Sold out in several sizes already.

Other places to check out:

Express: 50% off Everything + free shipping. I like this velvet cami, petite thong bodysuit, and beautiful festive sequin miniskirt. The sequin miniskirt and the bodysuit together make a great New Year’s party outfit!

Loft: 50% off your purchase. My favorite leggings in brushed sateen are part of this sale in two fits; I have these in black, gray, olive, and maroon. Super comfy and work appropriate.

Target Black Friday deals: tons of electronics, toys, tech gadgets, kitchenware, and, my personal favorite, home furniture and decor. I’ve got my eye on the instant pot and several furniture items (I need a new writing desk, vanity, and nightstands!)
